So, are you a rose lover and enthusiast? Or maybe you just have an unidentified rose that came with the new house you just purchased, that seems to have some potential? Are you having questions about growing & caring for roses? Come to one of our meetings or events and gain valuable gardening advice from many of the rosarians on hand. You’ll get to see award-winning roses on display and get a chance to learn more about them while having a visual floral experience to delight your senses. All of our meetings are open to the public, so come and join us! You do not have to be a member, although we’d love to have you join. Whether you are new to growing roses or a long-time rosarian, you are welcome.
The Asheville Blue Ridge Rose Society meets at 2pm on the second Sunday of each month except in December.
Our meetings are held at the American Red Cross at 100 Edgewood Road, Classroom 214, Asheville, NC 28804.
Novice growers are welcome. We have speakers, educational programs, practical demonstrations, and other learning opportunities.
We maintain a No-Spray Rose Garden at the American Red Cross.
ANNUAL ROSE SALE: Saturday, May 11. Rain or Shine! American Red Cross Building parking lot. We accept cash or credit cards at event. Expert rosarians will be on hand to help answer any questions.
ANNUAL ROSE EXHIBITION: Saturday, May 25 – Sunday, May 26. North Carolina Arboretum. Hundreds of roses on display, potted roses for sale, educational lectures & expert rosarians on hand to help answer any questions.
